1. About Us

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Printmania website and the purchase of products and services from us.

The terms “Printmania”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to:

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products and services online.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms together with any policies referred to in them, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable Irish or European Union consumer law.

2. Customers

Our products and services are available to both consumers and business customers.

If you place an order on behalf of a business, organisation, club, school or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to place the order on its behalf.

Certain statutory consumer rights apply specifically to consumers and may not apply in the same way to purchases made wholly or mainly for business purposes.

3. Products & Services

Printmania provides printing, personalised products and related services.

Many of our products are manufactured, printed, personalised or otherwise produced specifically according to information, specifications, artwork, photographs, logos, text or files supplied by the customer.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, photographs, mock-ups and previews are provided for illustration purposes and the appearance of the finished product may vary slightly depending on materials, printing processes, finishing methods and screen settings.

We may change or discontinue products or services where reasonably necessary.

4. Placing an Order

By submitting an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products or services subject to these Terms.

Please check your order carefully before submitting it, including:

• product;
• size and dimensions;
• quantity;
• material;
• finishing;
• personalisation;
• spelling and other text;
• artwork and photographs;
• delivery or collection details.

After an order is submitted, you may receive an automated confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• a product is unavailable;
• there is an obvious pricing or website error;
• payment cannot be authorised;
• the order cannot reasonably be produced as requested;
• the supplied content breaches these Terms or applicable law; or
• we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of our Services.

Where we cancel an order that has already been paid for and no goods or services have been supplied, we will refund the appropriate amount paid.

5. Custom, Personalised & Made-to-Order Products

Many products supplied by Printmania are personalised, customised or manufactured according to the customer's specifications.

This may include products containing customer-supplied:

• artwork;
• photographs;
• logos;
• names;
• text;
• dimensions;
• designs;
• QR codes;
• layouts; or
• other specifications.

Where a product is made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right applicable to many online purchases may not apply.

Our detailed cancellation, return and refund conditions are set out in our Refund Policy.

Nothing in this section affects statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods.

6. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because many of our products are made to order, production may begin shortly after an order is placed.

If you wish to cancel or change an order, please contact us immediately at info@printmania.ie.

We will try to accommodate changes where reasonably possible.

However, once production of a customised, personalised or made-to-order product has started, cancellation or changes may no longer be possible.

7. Customer-Supplied Artwork & Information

You are responsible for checking the accuracy and suitability of all artwork, photographs, text and other information supplied with your order.

This includes, where applicable:

• spelling and grammar;
• names and dates;
• telephone numbers and contact information;
• QR codes and URLs;
• dimensions;
• orientation;
• quantities;
• colours;
• image resolution;
• bleed;
• margins;
• safe areas; and
• positioning of important design elements.

We normally produce orders according to the artwork and information supplied or approved by the customer.

If the finished product accurately reproduces an error contained in customer-supplied or customer-approved artwork, this will not normally constitute a production defect.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where Printmania has failed to produce the goods in accordance with the agreed order.

8. Artwork Quality

Customers are responsible for supplying artwork and photographs of sufficient quality and resolution for their chosen print size.

Low-resolution, pixelated, blurry, heavily compressed or otherwise unsuitable files may produce reduced print quality, particularly when enlarged.

We may contact you if we notice an obvious issue with your artwork. However, Printmania does not undertake a comprehensive proofreading, pre-flight or professional design inspection of every file unless such a service has specifically been agreed.

The fact that we have not identified an issue before production does not mean that the supplied artwork has been professionally verified or approved by us.

9. Proofs & Approval

For some products or orders, we may provide a digital proof before production.

Where approval is requested, it is your responsibility to check the proof carefully before approving it.

Approval confirms that you accept the visible:

• wording and spelling;
• names and numbers;
• design and layout;
• images;
• positioning;
• orientation; and
• other details shown in the proof.

Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may no longer be possible.

An error that was clearly visible in a proof approved by the customer and was reproduced correctly in production will not normally constitute a production defect.

10. Intellectual Property & Customer Content

You retain any rights you hold in artwork, photographs, logos, designs or other content that you provide to us.

By supplying content to Printmania, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, resize, crop, adjust, process and print that content solely as reasonably necessary to process, produce and fulfil your order and provide the requested services.

You confirm that you own the content supplied or otherwise have the necessary permission or legal right to use it and to authorise us to reproduce it.

You must not ask us to reproduce content that unlawfully infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other intellectual property or legal rights.

Printmania is not responsible for determining ownership of customer-supplied artwork, trademarks, photographs or other content.

Where we reasonably believe that supplied content may infringe third-party rights or applicable law, we may refuse, suspend or cancel the order.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your original intellectual property to Printmania.

11. Prohibited Content

You must not use our Services to produce or distribute material that is unlawful.

We reserve the right to refuse an order where we reasonably believe that the content:

• infringes intellectual property rights;
• is fraudulent or deceptive;
• contains unlawful threats or harassment;
• violates applicable law;
• facilitates unlawful activity; or
• otherwise exposes Printmania to legal liability.

Where reasonably necessary, we may request evidence that you have permission to reproduce particular copyrighted or trademarked material.

12. Colours

Colours displayed on phones, monitors and other screens may differ from the finished printed product.

Screens generally display colours using RGB light, while printing processes use inks, toners, substrates and different colour reproduction methods.

Screen brightness and calibration can also significantly affect colour appearance.

For these reasons, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between a customer's screen and the finished printed product unless a specific colour-matching service or specification has been expressly agreed.

Reasonable colour variation may also occur between materials, printing processes, production batches and separate print runs.

If accurate colour matching is critical, please contact us before placing your order.

13. Production & Finishing Tolerances

Printing, cutting and finishing are physical manufacturing processes and may involve small production tolerances.

Minor variations may occur in:

• cutting position;
• dimensions;
• alignment;
• positioning;
• colour;
• finishing; and
• placement.

Minor variations that fall within reasonable production tolerances and do not materially affect the intended use or overall appearance of the product will not normally constitute a defect.

Customers should keep important text, logos and other critical elements within appropriate safe areas and away from cutting or finishing edges.

14. Prices & Payment

Prices displayed on our website are shown in euro unless otherwise stated.

The total amount payable, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be displayed during checkout before you submit your order.

Where VAT or other taxes apply, these will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Delivery charges may vary depending on the product, destination, order size and selected delivery method.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not normally affect orders already accepted by us.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

15. Obvious Pricing & Website Errors

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices and product information are accurate.

Occasionally, however, a technical, typographical or pricing error may occur.

If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price or with materially incorrect information, we may contact you before production to explain the issue.

Where appropriate, you will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected order for a refund.

We will not rely on this provision to avoid an order merely because a price subsequently becomes less commercially favourable to us.

16. Production Times

Most Printmania products require production before dispatch or collection.

Production times vary depending on the product, quantity, artwork, finishing requirements and workload.

Any turnaround or production time displayed on our website is an estimate unless a specific deadline has expressly been agreed with us.

Production time and delivery time are separate.

Selecting an express delivery service does not automatically mean that production will be expedited unless expressly stated or agreed.

If you require an order for a specific event or deadline, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether the requested timeframe is achievable.

17. Shipping & Delivery

Available delivery options and charges are displayed at checkout.

We use third-party postal and courier services to deliver orders.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.

Where Printmania arranges delivery to a consumer, responsibility for the goods remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you to receive them, subject to applicable law.

If a parcel is delayed, lost or damaged, please contact us so that we can investigate the issue with the delivery provider.

18. Store Collection

Where store collection is available, orders may be collected from:

Please wait until your order is ready for collection before travelling to collect it.

Collection estimates are subject to applicable production times unless a specific collection deadline has been expressly agreed.

19. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If we make a production error, supply an incorrect product, or the goods are faulty, damaged or otherwise do not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to help assess the issue.

Where appropriate, remedies may include repair, reprint, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.

Personalisation of a product does not remove your statutory rights where the product itself is faulty or does not conform to the contract.

20. Refunds & Returns

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Personalised or made-to-order goods generally cannot be returned simply because the customer has changed their mind where the applicable statutory exception applies.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods.

21. Website Use

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not knowingly:

• interfere with the operation or security of the website;
• introduce viruses or malicious software;
• attempt unauthorised access to our systems;
• use the website for fraudulent purposes;
• collect personal information about other users unlawfully; or
• use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts or damages our Services.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our website, customers or business.

22. Printmania Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, the Printmania website, branding, original graphics, text, layouts and other content created by or for Printmania are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce or commercially exploit our original website content, branding or designs without our permission except where permitted by law.

This section does not give Printmania ownership of artwork or other intellectual property supplied by customers.

23. Third-Party Services

Our website and Services may use third-party providers, including payment providers, delivery companies, software providers and Shopify.

Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies governing their services.

Printmania is not responsible for the content of independent third-party websites accessed through external links.

Nothing in this section limits any responsibility that Printmania has to you under applicable law for services that we have arranged as part of fulfilling your order.

24. Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

Shopify provides the e-commerce technology that enables us to operate our online store.

Purchases made from Printmania are transactions between you and Printmania, not Shopify.

Shopify may process certain information in connection with operating and providing the e-commerce platform. Further information about processing of personal data is provided in our Privacy Policy and Shopify's applicable privacy information.

25. Privacy & Cookies

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Where consent is legally required for analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies, these technologies are subject to the choices made through our cookie consent system.

You can review or change available cookie preferences through the privacy or cookie controls provided on our website.

26. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Irish law.

To the extent permitted by law, Printmania will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

For business customers, we will not be liable, to the extent permitted by law, for indirect or consequential business losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities or anticipated savings.

Nothing in this section affects any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

27. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in performing an obligation where this is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include significant postal or courier disruption, severe weather, power or telecommunications failures, equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance, fire, flood, industrial action or government restrictions.

Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with affected customers where appropriate.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory rights you may have, including rights relating to delivery or refunds where applicable.

28. Consumer Rights

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have rights under Irish and European Union consumer protection law.

Nothing in these Terms, our Refund Policy or our Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, the applicable statutory rights will prevail.

29. Governing Law

These Terms and any contract between you and Printmania are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence where required by law.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another competent jurisdiction.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or applicable law.

The current version will be published on our website.

Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights or contractual rights that have already arisen in relation to an accepted order.
